Giving Back To The Community

Each year Mentoric donates their skills and services to an organization within Toronto. It may be in the form of specific skills training, the facilitation of a meeting or workshop or a team building event.

Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto

Mentoric was delighted to have the opportunity to work with the staff of the Cardiac Diagnostic and Interventional Unit (CDIU) of the Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.

Enuring that there is always adequate staff on duty at all times is critical for the CDIU. We therefore arranged for two separate workshops to accommodate all the department personnel.

The theme for the day was improved communication within the department. Included within the program we designed was Edward DeBono's excellent Six Thinking Hats. Using an exercise designed by Mentoric we helped the team to recognize and practice different ways of thinking. Each of the groups were soon communicating in a constructive and non-confrontational manner.

We would like to thank the staff of the Sick Kids Hospital for making us very welcome.

If you know of an organization that you would like Mentoric to consider helping or if you are a not-for-profit organization that would like us to help you then please give us a call.
